Who we are
Streamlined Crafted is a bookkeeping firm. This tool is for the firm's own bookkeepers and the staff of the clients we serve. It is not a public service.
What we read from QuickBooks Online
With your authorisation we read the chart of accounts, vendors, classes, and transactions with their descriptions. The connection is read-only until a person approves a change. Nothing is posted to QuickBooks without a person approving it.
What we store
We store suggestions, the evidence behind them, the decisions people make, and an audit log. QuickBooks access tokens are encrypted with a key kept outside the database.
How AI providers are used
- Transaction descriptions, amounts and account names are sent to a third-party AI provider through its commercial API.
- We only use AI providers whose terms do not allow our data to be used to train their models.
- Web lookups cover vendor names only.
- Account numbers and personal names are masked before anything leaves our system.
- Transfers and person-to-person payments, such as Zelle and Venmo, are never looked up on the web.
- The provider keeps data according to its published API terms.
Who can see data
Staff only see the companies assigned to them. Every change is logged.

The tool is hosted on Vercel and Neon in the United States.
Disconnecting and deletion
You can disconnect QuickBooks at any time. See how to disconnect. To have stored data deleted, send us a written request and we will act on it.
